Detail:

Who should attend? Anyone who works or volunteers with children who live in or are looked after by Lambeth, including people who work with their families.

Why should they attend? When serious child safeguarding incidents occur, it is important that we understand what happened and why it happened to help improve our responses in future.

What are the learning objectives? We will be exploring the story of the 'Manning Family' which involves themes of child sexual abuse, neglect and domestic abuse. We will be looking at the lessons we have learnt about multiagency safeguarding responses in Lambeth based on the findings from the Child Safeguarding Practice Review which was undertaken to help improve responses in future.

How is the course delivered? This is a 1 hour briefing taking place online via MS Teams.
