- Develop knowledge about the types of risk and harm children experience outside the home, within the local Lambeth context.
- Explore contributing factors, including family context and structural inequality.
- Develop confidence in identifying, assessing and responding to risk outside the home.
- Build skills to use risk assessment tools.
- Develop knowledge and build skills to use the Disruption Toolkit and mechanisms available.
- Develop knowledge of protective factors and improve confidence to enhance these.
How is the course delivered? This free full-day course is delivered by an independent trainer with co-delivery by a representative of the Metropolitan Police Service's Central South Child Exploitation Team. Both in-person and online options are available.
