What are the learning objectives?
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Develop knowledge of the common mental health problems children live with and the impact of these.
- Develop knowledge of the mental health spectrum and build skills to recognise when poor mental health becomes a safeguarding concern.
- Develop knowledge of risk factors and build confidence and skills to spot the signs of poor mental health.
- Develop skills and confidence to respond and support children with poor mental health, and their families.
- Develop knowledge of local support pathways.
How is the course delivered? This free 2 hour course is delivered by an LSCP trainer and is an online only event.
